The Easiest & Most Addictive Dessert that Literally Anyone can Make

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark

Bark Stack

Alright I’m not going to bore you with 3 fucking pages of background about this before the recipe (does anyone read that stuff on food blogs? I usually get about 3 lines in and just scroll until I see an ingredient list). I concocted this recipe out of sheer desperation for something sweet one night in college and quickly found myself CRAVING it every night (particularly during that time of the month). It’s satisfying, simple, requires no actual baking AND is ready in about 20 minutes flat. Okay okay enough rambling..

Let’s get to it already.

What you’ll need (and honestly probably already have on hand)

(p.s. You can make this with any amount of chocolate, just reserve half of it to pour over top and adjust your amount of PB)

-½ sheet or 9x13 pan

-Parchment paper to cover your pan

-12oz chocolate (I prefer dark but literally any type will do)

-¾ cup peanut butter (ish, if you want it thicker or thinner just adjust as necessary)

-Sprinkle of kosher salt (the only thing I really insist upon- don’t use iodized salt. It’ll taste bitter, anything flaked like sea or kosher salt will work great)

Melt the chocolate in microwavable bowl using 30second bursts with the power at about 60%.

Stir every time you put it back in.

Once the chocolate is completely melted, spread ½ of it over your parchment paper (just eyeball it, I prefer to use about 75% of my chocolate here to get a thicker base and thinner top layer of chocolate).

Freeze until solid (about 5 mins without opening the freezer).

Spread your peanut butter evenly over the chocolate

Top with remaining chocolate.

Sprinkle with salt while the chocolate is still wet.

Place back in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Cut into desired pieces and eat or leave in the freezer another hour to get a more reese’s cup texture (the pb will solidify).

Enjoy that shit!

If you make this I’d love to see it!

Cheers,

Shelby
