Hello there! I’m Shelby, a 3rd generation foodie whose life centers around all things sweet and spirited.  My childhood was filled with chocolate and fond memories of traditional family meals that harken back to my Polish, Irish, and Hungarian roots.  I began baking as soon as I could hold a spatula thanks to my mom and grandmother.  My father is a craft beer enthusiast and largely responsible for the spirited influence of my baking.

I’ve worked in several kitchens around CLE as a pastry chef but found true creative fulfillment in my own kitchen.  I sell sweets via IG and host in person events such as workshops & pairing nights.  My "day job" is managing BLDG 17 a gorgeous new venue in the Twist Drill building.

When I’m not in a kitchen I usually reading up on astrology, hanging out with my four dogs, or just wondering around the city drinking all of the coffee & whiskey I can find (I’m a sucker for a good old fashioned).

I’m a virgo sun, libra moon, and pisces rising.  I’m an introvert but love connecting with genuine people; I’m not one for small talk.  If you see me out & about come say hello! Don’t let the RBF fool you, I’m not as mean as I look (unless provoked).
